I wanted to take a moment to share something exciting that we've been working on this year. It's a special project that I think many of you will love.
This is the Oliver + S Building Block Dress guide translated into Spanish! You might recall that I've been diligently studying Spanish over the last couple of years. While progress has been slow, I'm excited to say that I'll be joining a conversation class this fall once I feel confident enough to dive deeper into fluency. However, translating an entire book is far beyond my current capabilities. That's why we're incredibly fortunate to have had such a fantastic team supporting us along the way.
Our Spanish publisher, Editorial El Drac, has been absolutely incredible to work with. They've made sure the Spanish version of the book mirrors the original English edition as closely as possible. From helping with metric conversions to incorporating our ideas for improvement, they've been nothing short of supportive. I'm particularly grateful to my dear friends Miren Herrero Llorente and Maria Fernandez de Castro from Telaria for their invaluable assistance in making this book accessible and enjoyable for the Spanish-speaking sewing community. Miren, in particular, put in countless hours to ensure the book was polished to perfection. I can't wait to fully immerse myself in reading it!
