At HOZEN, we strongly believe that Black Lives Matter, and it's essential to take meaningful actions to support racial equality. We're proud to announce the launch of the Black Heart Bag, a special edition bag designed to honor and support the Black community. After covering the costs of materials and production, all profits from this bag will go directly to Black Girls Smile, an incredible organization focused on empowering young African American females through mental health advocacy and education.
Founded in 2012, Black Girls Smile (BGS) works tirelessly to provide resources and support to young women aged 14 to 18, a demographic particularly vulnerable to issues like depression, academic disengagement, and teenage pregnancy. By promoting mental health awareness, self-esteem, and leadership skills, BGS helps these teens build brighter futures. They've established partnerships with several key mental health organizations and offer a comprehensive online platform where individuals can access valuable wellness resources.
We chose to collaborate with Black Girls Smile because they genuinely address the unique challenges faced by young African American women. Our goal is to contribute to their efforts and help create opportunities for these remarkable young people to grow into strong leaders.
