Christian Dior Embodies Surrealism with Black and White Illusions

Leonor Fini, an Argentine surrealist artist, once said that only dramatic life will fascinate her. Therefore, in her paintings, there are often fantastic and absurd bodies that contain the meaning of mythology. In Dior's 2018 spring-summer advanced custom series, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri received her inspiration and inspired her from illusionistic surrealist writing and drama. It can be seen that the main colors of this season's high-order series are black and white. There are both soft veil and sharp suits and coats. Peacock feathers and perspective elements add some mysterious and sexy qualities.

The most eye-catching are two decorations - tattoo stickers and masks. Tattoo stickers are attached to the neck and look like a necklace from afar. Writing this French language above, coupled with strapless outfits and evening dresses, adds a touch of fun to the more serious dress code. Before Chanel also introduced wrist tattoo stickers, like an invisible jewelry. In fact, these tattoo stickers can also be creatively affixed to the clothes and give themselves "extra play". The other is a highly visual mask and veil. The large and square black and gold rectangular masks add a simple imposing manner to the overall shape. The layered veil is more suitable for dresses and long skirts. On the other hand, it is gentle. Add mystery. Shoes are fishnet socks with sandals. Maria Grazia Chiuri also used embroidery and pendants as a foil to the unconscious spiritual activities. The overall design highlights the spiritual power of contemporary women.
